They are looking for a Creative Technologist / Development Lead who will be responsible for building web projects as well as mobile and other digital experiences. The candidate must be passionate about building apps, bots and innovative digital experiences.
The role is to understand that in an agency you can't take a creative brief as a set of instructions and just “translate” it into software, you have to creatively interpret it. You will recommend, manage and develop creative technology-enabled solutions that help bring the creative/account team’s ideas to life.
Description
• Reviewing creative proposals and providing input on technologies best suited to deliver the project as per client requirements while keeping in mind budget/timeline restrictions
• Once signed off, maintaining project efficiency and communicating project status/challenges to agency teams in a timely manner
• Supporting and mentoring the junior developer on your team by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities
• Developing responsive cross-browser compatible websites/apps (template/custom/API led builds) with knowledge of user experience options
• Recruiting and managing a team of developers locally/regionally for projects when needed – and perform the necessary code reviews/audits throughout the process
• Analyzing live projects including performance, diagnosis/troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problematic programming
• Meeting and coordinating directly with clients if needed
• Providing recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management
• Experimenting with emerging platforms and frameworks to propose innovative technologies like AR, real-time/pre-rendered 3D etc.
• Educating and inspiring the agency team on the use of technology
