Purpose of the Job
Effectively provide proper evaluation of student’s/graduate’s CV and give them effective training on how to secure a gainful employment. Efficiently link KIC with the alumni in order to establish a strong and a lifetime relationship.
Duties and Responsibilities
A. MAIN COORDINATOR & FACILITATOR FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Internship Planning;
Collecting internship documents
Contacting students for applying
Conducting orientation sessions for internship
Placing interns
Following up on students’ performance and attendance throughout the internship period
Collecting&Analyzing internship data based on students/companies feedback at the end internship period
Career Planning;
Career Advancement Programs;
External Linkages; Contacting companies for internship placement
Alumni Events & Programs;
Community Outreach Programs.
B. SAFEKEEPER of student information and records related to the functions of this unit;
C. GENERATE reports on completion of each program/event
Specific Tasks:
Create external and internal linkages and partnerships;
Create programs for the career advancement of students in coordination with the different academic departments and upon the approval of the HSA;
Consolidate pertinent information on students to provide them with the appropriate career counseling;
Provide individual and group career counseling;
Create a functional database for the Alumni;
In-charge of Alumni Identification System;
In-charge of Alumni Networking System.
Create a comprehensive Alumni Handbook for timely distribution to all graduates of KIC.
OTHERS:
Other relevant task/s that may be assigned or given by the DSA from time to time for the overall operations of the department such as: surveys, institutional events, and the like.
