JOB SUMMARY (Purpose)
Under the general directions of Senior Systems Engineer, install and maintain computer hardware, software and network systems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Installation of computers, printers, scanners and peripherals.
• Maintenance of computers, printers, scanners and peripherals.
• Installation and maintenance of network equipment.
• Creating and maintaining network users and providing appropriate
permissions
• Loading operating system, in-house applications, configuring and assigning
proper permissions.
• Respond to all User reporting problems, queries & solving them at the earliest
• Responsible for maintaining computer assets register.
• Responsible for maintaining computer Installation / service report files.
• Creation and maintenance of client entries in DHCP, DNS server database.
• Creation and maintenance of email addresses on mail server and configuring
on client computer.
• Backup and recovery of user data.
• Creating Internet browsing user on the server, assigning proper permissions
and configuring on the client computer.
• Technical recommendation for IT equipment purchases under the guidance of
Senior Systems Engineer.
AUTHORITIES
Creating and maintaining authentication for users under the guidance of Sr. Systems Engineer.
Network administration and maintenance
OS/Software upgrades and patches installation.
