Showrooms Manager – Abu Dhabi / Al Ain

The Client

The client is a large, local and semi-government owned FMCG organization with wholesale and retail channels regionally and internationally.

 

The Role

We are urgently looking for a Showrooms Manager responsible for running the showrooms and to maximize profit whilst minimizing costs. This position will be reporting to the Sales Director and is expected to run the day to day tasks of the store and achieve sales targets.

Key Accountabilities

• Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees;
  following up on work results.
• 
  
• Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts;
  maintaining inventories.
• 
  
• Maintains awareness of market trends in the retail industry
• 
  
• Build relationships with regular key clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction
• 
  
• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with
  potential and actual customers to understand service requirements and
  ensure the showrooms can compete effectively in the local market.
• 
  
• Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining
  additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying
  trends.
• 
  
• Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements
  and departmental sales records.
• 
  
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• 
  
• Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
• 
  
• Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of the section to meet the
  company’s requirements, policies and standards.
• 
  
• Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program,
  operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
