Works closely with health care operators and other DHCC entities to gather, consolidate, analyze and report health related statistics information to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitors the accuracy and quality of health data produced and ensures completeness and accuracy of data available.
Analyses and reports on healthcare information as requested including, but not restricted to, patient flows, patient demographics, and infection rates across all the DHCC entities.
Generates and publishes annual statistics reports for the purpose of providing the management with up to date and accurate information for review and decision making.
Provides recommendations to the Senior Management for the purpose of improving data accuracy and meeting stakeholders needs within the legal contexts and policies of DHCA.
Conducts education sessions and trainings for healthcare operators to promote knowledge – based awareness of CPQ ICD 10, CPT, CAM coding standards, statistics requirements, HID applications and web based applications, in order to encourage participative approach for conformity to guidelines.
Liaise with other governments entities such as (DSC, MOH, Smart Gov, DHA) to provide necessary and agreed upon data & collaborate in credentialing access to the system as required.
Ensures that clinical coding is optimized by guiding and supporting health care operators and providing them with related guidelines, policies and procedures of DHCA.
Ensures data security and confidentiality in all endeavors and guide different entities on maintaining confidentiality and data security.
Responds to any queries or issues related to health informatics in a timely manner.
