Work with colleagues across the company Finance, ERP, Operation, business planers and staff directly involved in processing financial information, with a view to:
Understanding the business needs and providing systems and reports which support those needs
Developing more effective and efficient financial processes
Enhance and speed up the current reporting structure
Developing new reports that help business to meet budget and improve financial performance.
Coordinating the roadmap for the Oracle ERP finance functions between Finance and the ERP team
To proactively analyses finance data across systems with a view to identifying errors and discrepancies, improving processes (manual and automated) and providing information to enhance strategic and operational decision making.
To act as the main point of contact for finance new corporate system queries and to liaise with IT and others department to ensure that systems are robust, efficient and fit for purpose.
To be responsible for ensuring that all finance systems and process are developed with appropriate financial controls and meet both internal and external reporting requirements.
To lead or contribute to ad hoc exercises and projects as required.
