Position Title: Lawyer
Unit/ Department: Legal
Job Purpose:
Handle the full range of the group’s legal issues, and be responsible for advising on commercial and business development arrangements. Monitor the risk environment and act to reduce the group’s risk exposure. Suggest process improvements for the legal team.
Key Accountabilities:
General Duties
- Draft legal documents and letters addressed to private and governmental entities and bodies
- Draft Resolutions and Power of Attorney, Amendment of Articles of Association, incorporation and liquidation of companies
- Draft, review and comment on various commercial documents, contracts and agreements
- Provide legal advice and assistance to on various corporate matters
- Attend to ad hoc requests to meet business needs.
Research & Transactions
- Conduct research in respect of various legal matters, court’s precedents, jurisprudence and other legal subjects
- Advise on business transactions related to internal affairs, directors, executives, stockholders, and corporate relationship with public
Legal Support
- Evaluate disputes and advise on the appropriate action, prior to and during legal proceedings
- Work with external counsel and other third party service providers
