This opening is with one of our client which is one of the leading Hotel apartments brand in Dubai.


A. Purpose and Scope
Ensure housekeeping operation produces the highest level of cleanliness, presentation and guest care, as laid down in the standard of operation / service.
B. Responsibilities and Duties


• Supervisor on the opening of AM & PM and midnight shift and overview tasks assigned to staff in designated areas.


• Supervisor daily activities of the floor staff to ensure clean, tidy and well supplied guest rooms, hallways, elevators, stairs cases, service areas and pantries.


• Supervisor record, priorities and coordinate check-in and check-out of groups, VIP arrivals and back to back crew rooms.


• To identify discrepancy and immediately report such to front office. Ensuring the highest level of services.


• Responsible for maintaining the Housekeeping department including planning, organization and supervision of cleanliness, maintenance throughout the hotel.


• Daily hand over assignment, at the end of the shift, in form of a log book message summarizing all tasks completed and follow up for next shift.


• Completed and follow-up for fellow supervisors / next shift.


• Maintain positive communication and hold regular meeting with the public area supervisors To set up execute periodical cleaning schedules


• To liaise with engineering with regard to any engineering work orders required in housekeeping area.


• Establish and affect follow up on pending engineering orders and report such on weekly basis.


• Ensure all chemicals are stored and applied in accordance with Health & Safety policies and all staff is fully trained.


• Ensure and spot check that all equipment’s is used and maintained properly and handled in hygienic way.


• To assist in controlling of all operating expenses with the budget requirements.


• Coordinate and participate in housekeeping inventories both for store and linen items.


• Demonstrate full knowledge of fire preventing training and ensure your subordinated and you follow the duties upon hearing the alarm to ensure your subordinates and you’re grooming and personal hygiene is maintained the highest level all the time.


• To report and handle lost & found items with great care and accuracy, immediately reporting items to the office.


• To report and loss, theft, damage or strange behaviour / incident to your superior immediately.


• Train and develop all staff to the desired level of skill, knowledge and competency required to ensure standard performance.


• Attend any nominated training session. Constantly asses your subordinate training needs.


• Establish and maintain a work atmosphere filled with team spirit among your colleagues and other departments


• Ensure efficient practice of a team leader as per hotel standards.


General
• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of Pearl Marina Hotel Apartment function, so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost effective service to customers.


• Ensure compliance to all relent QHSE procedures and controls across Pearl Marina Hotel function to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.


• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
