§ Participates in the design of comprehensive diagnosis, and assists in
performing minor surgeries.
§
Prepares operatory
room and Dental instruments for the examination and treatment of patients.
§
Takes X-ray images
as per the requirements received from the service provider, and re-takes images
if required.
§
Prepares patients for
examination or treatment including explaining procedures and correct
positioning.
§
Provides
assistance to patients for completing their medical history form in order to
compile accurate and up-to-date patient records for the facility.
§
Participates in
other patient care including, assisting with pre-operative care, surgical
procedures, post-operative care, etc.
§
Orders appropriate
investigations in consultation with the Dentists.
§
Assists the
dentists in taking impressions of the mouth and dental radiographs to support
diagnosis and fitting of dental prosthetics.
§ Liaises with Dental Hygienists for cleaning and sterilizing dental
equipment and materials used in the examination and treatment of patients
§ Ensures proper documentation of patient’s examination and treatment
details in the available system.
§ Ensures patient safety and reports any incidents or unsafe equipment or
situations to the Senior Management.
§
Communicates and
coordinates with the different functions in the facility as well as the front
desk to maintain work flow and ensure high quality customer service is provided
to patients.
§ Assists in providing monthly departmental reports whenever required.
