JOB SUMMARY
Completes patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission and determines if the patient meets criteria for admissions.
Responsible for managing the referrals and admissions generated through their assigned hospitals and territories by representing the hospital with professionalism to referral sources.
In conjuction with the department director, designs and manages the marketing strategies for their assigned territory. Conduct face-to-face contacts with potential referral sources and maintains positive relationships with current and potential referral sources.
Utlizes educational opportunities to present the hospital to referring professionals, payers, and government and private healthcare agencies.
Consistenly identifies new referral opportunities and manages potential client base.
Coordinates transmission of clinical information and benefits of treatment to patients, families and referral sources.
Performs 80% or more of work outside the hospital.
Support the Clinical liaison with any difficult families and situation as needed. To be reference for the rest of clinical liaison in term of knowledge and skills.
