Huxley is currently working with a well renowned bank that is on the lookout for a Big Data Application Technology Lead. If you have experience within Big Data, this could be perfect for you.
Title: Big Data Application Technology Lead
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities:
Manage the production systems related to Big Data ecosystem within IT.
Provide first level of support for Big Data solution and ensure data ingestion & processing is completed as required.
Periodically review Big Data solutions and conduct health checks.
Enhance and manage leading edge IT capabilities in Data Management, Data Integration, Data Transformation, Data Warehousing, ETL, Master Data Management, Real Time Web Services, Big Data.
Experience:
Must have hands on experience in managing Big Data components like Hadoop Distributed File System, Cloudera, Hive, Impala, Kafka, Flume & Spark.
Knowledge of other tools like Informatica, Talend, SAS Analytics for Big Data, SAS Visual Analytics, SAP Hana, SAP Lumira and SAP Business Objects would be an added advantage.
Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in IT activities of which minimum 5 years should be in a similar role in Banking / Financial industry.
