Salesperson - Soil Store

SUMMARY:


Soil is an organic food store based in Abu Dhabi. Your role will be to promote the current organic retail range and will include assisting customers during the buying process, performing all cash register functions, bagging groceries, and working at customer service desk. You will need to be able to explaing to them the health benefits as well, so a good background in health & fitness is mandatory.


Additionally, you will work to maintain attractive Customer Service displays and support the regional Customer Service vision. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.


 


Your role will include assisting customers during the buying process, performing all cash register functions, bagging groceries, and working at customer service desk. DUTIES:
-Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Follow through on all Customer questions and requests. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delightful service.

-Greets customer; establishes eye contact with customers. Speaks to customers in a respectful manner and maintains patience in addressing customer concerns.
-Demonstrate product knowledge, an overall knowledge of Soil Store
-Responds positively to customer’s inquiries and assists customers with purchases, information and product selection.


-Follow all cash handling procedures. Scan products, process credit cards and cash, balance cash registers.

-Document all void transactions, refunds and change requests, record and report Point of Sale discrepancies, identify counterfeit money.


-Performs suggestive selling, cross-selling of products, and other sales techniques.


-Ensure that displays are stocked, neat, and clean.
-Balances cash drawer and receipts for shift; document and report discrepancies.
-Responsible for keeping and maintaining front of the Store clean and orderly.
-Answer department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
