ABOUT THE ROLE
The Marketing Strategist is responsible for ideation, strategy, planning, coordination, and execution of marketing activities for developing innovative customer journey experiences and funnels critical to driving program enrollments according to sales targets.
We are looking for an experienced, solution-oriented, and creative professional with the ability to connect marketing strategies to school 2020 objectives, finding ways to strategically and creatively communicate value propositions to prospective students.
You have experience in planning, strategizing, and executing various marketing campaigns, as well as reporting on results, and coming up with suggestions for optimization and scaling.
Reporting to the School Leader & Strategic Director, the Marketing Strategist works closely with school copywriter, graphic designer, social media manager, advertising team, and marketing tech support specialist, and has the following responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the school efforts in developing and realizing revenue strategies, achieving enrolment targets and all goals related to reputation and awareness in the highly competitive knowledge industry market;
Track, report and analyze marketing and sales data, create and adapt marketing strategies based on results of that data analysis;
Generate and articulate strategic ideas via written proposals and marketing plans that effectively communicate each concept & deliverables
Directly oversee all advertising strategies, marketing communications, content creation, and creative assets used in promoting the engagements of the school, including:
Email marketing campaigns (copy optimization, strategy, tracking and reporting)
Email newsletters (strategy, scheduling, overseeing copy and creative, tracking and reporting)
Weekly webinar marketing campaigns (optimizing copy and email schedule to increase the number of registrations and calls booked)
Lead magnet funnels (video sales letter, free introductory course): ongoing funnel optimization, tweaking, tracking and reporting
Facebook chatbot campaigns (strategy, copy, schedule, tracking and reporting)
Customer referrals programs (email communication, result tracking and reporting, strategic improvements for revenue growth)
Social Media Content Marketing (oversee strategy, creative assets and copy to correspond with strategic marketing and awareness objectives 2020, track KPIs and metrics, report the results)
Paid advertising (FB ads, Instagram Ads, Google Adwords)- tracking performance, reporting, suggesting improvements, and working with the advertising team on ongoing optimizations.
Digital print content marketing (digital magazine) - overseeing the marketing and distribution of the digital magazine, ensuring the magazine content addresses marketing and awareness goals 2020.
Lead Conversion Rate Optimization including A/B and multivariate testing, customer journey and funnel analysis, copy optimization, and audience segmentation.
Engage in and ensure a strategic relationship with the team providing insight and reporting across all aspects of the marketing and communications spectrum
Ensure excellent team communication at all levels: defining KPIs, deadlines, and service agreements, leading through the execution, reviewing the deliverables, and giving feedback.
Deliver an added-value consultancy to the suggesting innovative ideas and improvements.
Measure growth and impact across the full spectrum of marketing channels and report the findings.
